Prior to his current position, Mike was Assistant Pastor at Community Family Church in Independence, KY under Pastor Tommy Bates. There he served, created and led several ministries such as Student Ministries, Business Administration, Pastoral Care and Missions.
Raised in Norton, VA, Mike now lives with his wife, April, and 2 children in Corbin, KY. Mike is a graduate of World Harvest Bible College, School of Christ International and currently completing his Business Degree at Eastern Kentucky University. He is also a licensed minister in the Assembly of God.
